Raw Carror Soup Order and Pickup Dates

Order the soup by Sunday, October 26th for pickup on Sunday, November 2nd

To all those who ordered soup, it is here at church and will be available for pick up after the service. If payments still need to be made please bring cash. The orange table will be hosted by Ann Heeds and Nancy Law to retrieve your orders. Thanks again for the support, Geraldine and Cynthia picked up 69 packages of soup for which The Raw Carrot receives all funds.

Saturday saw dedicated gardeners out in the Community Garden closing up plots for the winter. This is a special little ministry as the growers often donate produce to Eden Food for Change and of course share the fruits of their labours amongst themselves. Great way to socialize, make new friends, save some grocery money and enjoy God's creation. A thank you goes out to Chris Starkey - garden organizer and to Ingrid Brown as she is the face the seasonal plot owners see with any concerns. I know she also benefits from the gifts of fresh produce throughout the summer.   

As a little thank you to the people involved Glenbrook offered hot drinks, donuts and muffins during a break from the work outside.
