Hello Glenbrook!
A big thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday to celebrate Pastor Jinsil's Induction Service, it was truly wonderful. Friends and family gathered to watch an incredibly proud moment! Congratulations again to Pastor Jinsil and a big thank you to everyone who worked together for a great afternoon. Here is a photo with Pastor Jinsil and his lovely parents.
I want to also mention that Pastor Jinsil's hours are now Saturday to Wednesday, he will be visiting congregation members on Thursdays and Fridays as requested.

PRESBYTERY SURVEY
Presbytery of Brampton Congregational Survey
The Presbytery is conducting a survey to gain a ‘snapshot’ of the current state of the Presbytery of Brampton. It is being distributed to all Congregations and anyone who worships in one of our Congregations is invited to answer these questions prayerfully and honestly. The survey is anonymous and the results will help the Presbytery discern how to support our Congregations in the future.

FIRE DRILL SUNDAY SEPT 20th
Hi everyone,
There will be a fire drill this Sunday September 20thalong with St. Thomas a Beckett. This will take place before the service starts.
It will be a “Dry Fire Alarm” meaning the actual Fire alarm system will not be pulled. When the Bell rings in the hallway, be aware of your neighbor and assist as necessary.
At this time we will leave the church through the Front door, and gather in the Parking Lot.
Please do not sit in your car, as we need to account for everyone as part of the fire drill.
When the drill is over, then everyone will be told to come back into the church, and the service will then begin.
* PLEASE NOTE - If it is raining we will postpone the drill and reschedule.

BIBLE STUDY
Bible study will begin on Tuesday Sept 22nd at 10 am until 11:30 am. We will be looking at the Book of Jude. There is a sign up sheet on the lobby table. Please come and join us.
FALL HOME SHOW FREE TICKETS

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - SECURITY & FIRE MONITORING
We are looking for a volunteer to assist the Board of Managers with the Security and Fire Monitoring portfolio.
Anyone with experience in either area would be of help to our committee or if anyone is interested in learning about this role please contact Margaret Leaver Power at 905-330-7273.

MORE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are looking for one or more volunteers, to take on the task of every second month, bringing inside the Garbage Bins from the street, back into the church.
Steve Khan had taken on this task in the past for many years, so now we need someone to take over, or have a shared responsibility.
This task involves taking in the bins every Wednesday, as the Garbage is taken out by the cleaners every Tuesday night.
This could be done anytime of day on Wednesday.
St Thomas a Beckett does have their own volunteer to do this every other month, as a shared responsibility between both churches

Announcing the names of the faithful mission volunteers who will travel Feb 13th - 21st
In the surrounding area of the city of San Vincente, El Salvador.
Geraldine, Les and Anita ( Geraldine's sister and brother in law), Conrad, Silas and Glenn.
They will be part of a 15 person team, building new homes for worthy families. Keep them and our fundraising efforts in your prayers.
GOOD NEIGHBOUR PROJECT
Food Grains Canada fundraiser will run from Sept 20th - Oct 18th
You can of course give at any time, more information at church.
