Hello Glenbrook!
Although Remembrance Day was on Tuesday, I still wanted to mention it on today’s newsletter. Many years ago, I went to the Remembrance Day ceremony in Toronto, in front of the Old City Hall, it was a great experience. I’ve been trying to make it out to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton for their Remembrance Day ceremony for years, but I never seem to be able to get out that way to catch it. They do a really wonderful event inside their huge airplane hanger and many veterans attend, many over the age of 100. A fascinating place if you’ve never been.
I hope you’ve had a great week, snow has decided to join us a bit early so be careful on the slippery roads and walkways.
We have Rev. Dr Victor Shepherd speaking at Glenbrook on Sunday, 16th, 23rd and 30th
Have a great week!
Andrea
