December 5, 2025
Hello Glenbrook!
I do hope everyone is doing well. Every year I try to organize myself and grab some early little gifts here and there and really try to avoid the holiday crowds and malls. Do I manage to accomplish this? Of course not! But I do try 😄. I did make my way to a Christmas Market last weekend and picked up a few little things from some local artisans which is always nice. I hope you all have a lovely week and manage to get to some events here at Glenbrook in December, details are listed below.
A reminder that for the duration of Advent please join us to sing some Christmas carols before Sunday Service. We would like to start the carols at around 9:45am, see you there.
We have Rev. Dr. Victor Shepherd speaking at Glenbrook this Sunday December 7thand 14th.
Have a great week!
Andrea
GLENBROOK ANNOUNCEMENTS
OPEN DOOR
Hello to everyone in our Glenbrook Family. It has been a Glenbrook custom to purchase gift cards and give them to The Open-Door Outreach Ministry this time each year. These cards will allow clients of the Open-Door Ministry at Square One to receive funds that will give them an opportunity to make seasonal purchases for themselves and their families.
Ideally, you buy the cards and bring them to church OR use the glenbrookpcevents@gmail.com to e-transfer amounts that you wish to be purchased on your behalf. These cards will be delivered to the Open-Door for distribution to those in need.
You can give donations designated “For Open Door Gift Cards” with your offering. Offering stewards will let me know the amount of funds allocated for this initiative and Glenbrook will get the proper number of $25 Walmart gift cards. Each client from the Open Door will receive a $25 Walmart gift card. We wish all funds to be received at church by Wednesday December 10th.
May you all be blessed as you reach out to be the hands of Jesus this Christmas.
