Hello Glenbrook!
Good afternoon, we have quite a few announcements in this week's ...What's New? We are having a fraud awareness session on Saturday March 30th at 2 pm, an extremely informative presentation open to anyone that is interested, more details on that also below. A quick reminder that this Sunday we are welcoming back our friends Al and Tricia Smillie so make sure to come and say hello, all the details are under The Open Door section.

LADIES' LUNCH
The ladies' lunch is back! Tuesday May 26th at 12 noon. The venue this month is Swiss Chalet, 2155 Leanne Blvd, Mississauga, L5K-2K8. They have new menu items that include beef, plus on Tuesdays they are still offering "two can dine".
There is a sign up sheet on the lobby table, please leave your name if you are planning on attending, thank you!
FRAUD AWARENESS INFORMATION SESSION
We all know there are scams and fraud out there and that some of it is targeted at seniors. Glenbrook will host an information session called “Senior Online Fraud Awareness” on Saturday, May 30 at 2:00pm. Varsha Vaishali is the speaker. She is the founder and president of an organization called Cyber Harassment Support. There is a sign up sheet for this session on the front table.
OPEN DOOR LUNCH
The Open Door lunch is on June 4th, there will be a sign up sheet in the lobby.
We need 3 volunteers to serve and people to make loaves of cold sandwiches, cold salads, and small desserts homemade or store-bought. Thank you in advance.
This Sunday we will welcome Al and Tricia Smillie, our friends who are missionaries in Scotland with Mission Go. Al will be leading our service and we may even see a few faces from the past as Youth Group members from the Smillies time here at Glenbrook may appear.
We invite you to enjoy some cake during Refreshment Time immediately following the service. The Session would like to formally thank all who contribute to the life of this church family in any volunteer capacity. There are so many individuals who put their faith into action by sharing the love and grace of God with others. You offer your time, skills, and unique spiritual gifts helping to cultivate a welcoming community and practical support to those in need. Please enjoy a piece of cake and know how thankful we are for you, and how deeply you are appreciated.
CAMPERSHIP FUND CONCERT
Glenbrook will host a Campership Fund Concert on June 6 from 7-9pm. The Bag of Ham is back and will be performing at this concert. Lloyd and Nancy’s group, In the Vineyard will also be performing that night. Since we are talking about camp, we will even have s’mores available at the intermission!! Admission is free. We will be asking for donations for the Campership Fund. All proceeds will help children to go to camp this summer.
SPRING SHOW
Please join us on June 6th at 2:00 pm at Port Nelson United Church in Burlington. Chris Starkey and his chorus, Harbourtown Sound will be singing a variety of music from artists like Billy Joel, The Monkees, and Leonard Cohen. His quartet, The Paris Accord will be singing and there will be a special performance by retired champions Chameleon!
If you would like to attend this wonderful event, please contact Chris for tickets. We can also help arrange carpooling from Glenbrook.
CAMP CAIRN
This weekend is Cairn's Spring Work Weekend to get camp ready for the summer. Nancy A., Rachel, Silas and Nancy L. will be up there and helping out wherever they can.
