Hello Glenbrook!
Good afternoon, it's a beautiful day out there! Like every spring that comes around, I try to organize my home to make room and help keep my place from being too cluttered. I suppose spring gives one the energy to do some sorting, cleaning, or donating. My lovely mom was very sentimental and kept everything, i am deeply grateful for the things she did keep. I’m learning to balance holding onto what’s dear and letting go of the rest; it is definitely a process.
On that note, Happy Mother’s Day in advance! We all have women in our lives who have helped us along the way. Some of them are mothers, others are beloved friends. Some are here with us and some are gone. Let's take this years Mother's Day to celebrate happy memories and appreciate everything the women in our lives have helped us to achieve.🌺
Have a lovely weekend,
Andrea
PASTORAL SEARCH COMMITTEE UPDATE
The Pastoral Search Committee has completed its second round of pastoral interviews and will be meeting this coming Monday to review and determine which candidate to recommend to the session. As a committee, we have agreed on the importance of reaching consensus as we advance this process, and we ask for your prayers to do so. As you know, the work of this committee is confidential, and this is all we can share at this time. We trust with God's guidance and the work of the Holy Spirit that we will be able to share more details with you in the near future.
Blessings,
Ward Pipher,
Convenor, Pastoral Search Committee
MUFFINS FOR MISSIONS
Thank you to everyone who participated in Muffin for Mission last Sunday. We were able to raise over $200 for PWS&D! We had a healthy blueberry-oat muffin option this time. They were delicious!
