Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. It's a beautiful day outside, I hope you are able to get outside or at least sit in the sun and soak up some warmth from a cozy chair indoors. Just a reminder that this Monday is Family Day, a long weekend for most. Also a reminder that this Sunday is the Caribbean Lunch with St. Thomas a Becket in honour of Black History Month, after Glenbrook's service. Have a wonderful week!

AGM - SUNDAY MARCH 1st
Please mark your calendars for the AGM on Sunday March 1st after the service. There will be a light lunch followed by the meeting. Reports are due to the office by February 15th, that is THIS Sunday.

RAW CARROT SOUP ORDER DEADLINE THIS SUNDAY
You can check last week’s What's New or see Instructions on the Lobby Table to make your order online at the Raw Carrot website and pay there OR fill in the Order Form on the table and pay via etransfer using the email glenbrookpcevents@gmailcom.
We will get your soup back to church for you for PICK UP next Sunday, February 23rd.
PANCAKE SUPPER IS THIS TUESDAY FEBRUARY 17th
Tickets will be sold BEFORE AND AFTER THE SERVICE THIS SUNDAY. See Geraldine with CASH preferably.
It would be very helpful to know ahead of time what the numbers are for preparation purposes, but paying at the door the day of is acceptable too. Bring your family and friends.

MEN'S LUNCH
The Men's lunch will be held on Wednesday, February 18th at noon at Mulligan's Pub. Please see the sign-up sheet on the front table and let us know if you are attending.

LADIE'S LUNCH
The Ladie's lunch will take place on Tuesday, February 24th at noon. Many of the ladies wondered about the Chinese New Year at the Mandarin, so off we go!

COLDEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR WALK
Glen McKenzie and Nancy Law are walking in the Coldest Night of the Year walk on February 28th to support The Dam. The Dam is a drop-in centre that provides youth here in Mississauga with lunch and after school programs and leadership opportunities. To join in the walk or support The Dam, please see Nancy or click on the link below. We also have pledge sheets for in person cash donations which will be available after church on Sunday Receipts will be issued for donations of $20 or more.

Volunteer Opportunity for the Board of Managers
We are looking for 3 Members at Large to attend our monthly meetings
We meet the second Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm at the church, except July and August.
The Board of Managers is a team of approximately 10 people who serve the Lord and our Church Community as it pertains to the operation of the building, and various other committees.
Areas include Envelope Secretary, Treasurer/Bookkeeper, Health and Safety, Fire, Security, Insurance and tracking Assets, and Leading with Care.
This role is ideal for someone who is willing to contribute to the committee, share ideas, and support the work of the Board, but not have a specific portfolio to manage.
If you are someone that has a banking background, this would be helpful to our committee, or if you have a background in Fire Safety, this would also be an asset to the Board.
Responsibility:
Attend regular meetings once per month
Participate in the discussions
Bring forward ideas or concerns from the perspective of a broader member-at-large stance
Assist with general tasks as needed

Learn how the church operates behind the scenes
