Hello Glenbrook!

Who has been watching the Olympics? Our incredible athletes have been absolutely unbelievable out there!  I watched Canadians Piper and Paul win their bronze medal in figure skating the other day after 15 years of determination and incredible hard work and it was one of he most beautiful performances I've ever seen.  Continued success and prayers to all our athletes!

Before you scroll down please note that this is the last week to donate to the Coldest Night of the Year Walk.  This centre has been in operation since 1995 and do wonderful work with young people. Please read below for all the details on how you can help make a difference in our community,  Nancy Law will be walking this year and if you have any questions please feel free to ask her.

Thank you,

Andrea

PANCAKES AND SAUSAGE WERE A HIT!

Over 40 of the Glenbrook family and some friends enjoyed a feast of regular and blueberry pancakes and sausage and fruit this past Tuesday evening.

There are so many to thank for their hard work setting up and taking down and cleaning up the leftovers, whipping batter and flipping at the griddles. So Geraldine our organizer thanks, Det and Margaret, Gill, Blaine and Diane, Janet, Emily, Ellys and Bonnie and Jim for their dedication to putting on a yummy and warm event to start off our Lenten Season.

The Work of the Presbyterian World Service and Development

Please take the time to pick up and read or take home a copy of a wonderful example of the work of the PWS&D.

During the Easter season we have employed the Lenten Liturgies provided by the Presbyterian Church of Canada. To go along with each of the next 7 Sunday Responsive Readings, we have printed a story of Hope gained through the International work done by the PWS&D. Your Outreach and Missions committee just wishes to inform you about the blessings Glenbrook helps to provide around the world. This week see Zahara's story.
