2026 PLEDGE DONATIONS FOR GLENBROOK MINISTRY

Session and the Board of Managers want to express their thanks to the congregation for their continued generosity over the past year. As they plan the stewardship for 2026, they ask that we prayerfully consider making a pledge to the ongoing ministry of Glenbrook. There is a Pledge form that can be found on the table outside that will give instructions on how to submit your pledge information online by email or on REALM account; or you can speak with the Envelope Secretary, Grace Thomas for additional information.

Thank you

‍‍GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

We have been having a recurring and somewhat problematic situation over the past few months.

"Our church is committed to loving our neighbours and caring for those in need. We want to ensure our assistance does not enable negative behaviour. When you encounter someone asking for money on church property, we encourage you to follow Jesus’ call to show love. Please look them in the eye, smile, and offer a kind word or prayer. You can offer them a ‘Resource Card’ from the Lobby Table. These cards list information about The Open Door and local Food Banks and social services, providing long-term care that is more helpful than cash. If the person is in the building, please direct them to remain until after the service to speak with the Pastor, a Session member or our Family Outreach Coordinator Nancy Law.

Thank you for being a part of helping others with wisdom and grace.

MUFFINS FOR MISSIONS

Muffins for Mission Sunday will be next week March 8th. Proceeds from sales will go to The Dam Youth Drop-in Centre. There is a sign-up sheet for bakers if you can help out.

SAVE THE DATE!

On Saturday, March 28 Glenbrook will host a family-friendly Easter event from 3-5pm. Details to follow.
‍ ‍

‍‍SPIRITUALITY CENTRE

During our recent pancake supper, we had a spirituality centre set up in the Sanctuary. The theme was Peter’s journey with Jesus. There were 5 stations that people could visit: Follow Me, The Rock, Weathering the Storm, Denial and Forgiveness. The pictures of the stations and the narrative are in the video below. You may have to use your imagination a bit since it was an in-person event but have added activities for anyone watching it from home.
