We also have some information on Margaret Mills memorial service online for those of you who cannot make it to the service tomorrow, but still want to share in the celebration of life for her. You will be able to and there are details below.

GOOD FRIDAY
Please join us on Good Friday @ 10 am April 3rd for our Good Friday service. There will be hot crust buns available afterwards.
CONGREGATIONAL ROLL & NEW MEMBERS
A reminder to please check your name on the lists on the front table to help us ensure our congregational roll is accurate. You will notice that there are members and adherents. Members and adherents share many of the same privileges and responsibilities; however, there are a few items that require membership to participate - such as eldership, voting on some items in congregational meetings and calling a minister. In the Presbyterian Church in Canada, only members are able (and required) to vote and sign the call for a new minister.
If you have been attending Glenbrook for a while and are interested in taking the next step to become a member please speak to Nancy Alexander or any elder. We are planning a New Members service at the end of April.
CHOIR PRACTICE
Glenbrook’s Choir will sing at the Good Friday and Easter Sunday Services.
The last choir practice is next Thursday night at 7:00pm
OPEN DOOR LUNCH
This Thursday, April 2, we will host a lunch at the Open Door. There is a sign-up sheet for food donations and volunteers to serve. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
WOMEN'S DAY LUNCHEON
We will host a Women’s Luncheon on Saturday, April 18 from 11am-2pm for the women from Glenbrook and St. Thomas A Becket churches. Emma Goldstein from PWS&D will be speaking about the work they are doing to help women in their international ministries. Please sign up if you are interested in attending. A free will offering is appreciated on the day of the event.
CAMP CAIRN
Camp Cairn is our Presbyterian Church Camp in Muskoka. They have a variety of camps for children and youth but also opportunities for you to enjoy camp with your family and friends. There is something for everyone! Please visit www.ilovecamp.org for more details or see Nancy Law if you have any questions.
They do have a work weekend that happens May 22-24 to get the camp ready for the summer. (That is the weekend after the long weekend) There are many projects for a variety of skill levels. Meals and accommodations are provided free of charge. Please see Nancy Law if you are interested in attending. Work Weekend Info

OPEN DOOR TOILETRIES DRIVE
Toiletries Drive for the Open Door is running until Easter
During Lent, we will be collecting donations of toiletries for the Open Door.
Toiletries (deodorant, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap)
Diapers (baby and adult), Pull-Ups (size 3,4, 5)
Feminine hygiene products
We will have a basket available to collect donations by the front table.
Thank you for helping our neighbours in need!
SHELTER SERVICE
Thank you to everyone who helped with the Shelter Service last Sunday. It was a huge success!! Brenda and Ed Stein were delighted with the warm welcome that they received and our support for their mission. They look forward to partnering with us in the future.
