April 24, 2026

Hello Glenbrook!

Welcome to this week's update. I hope everyone is doing well.  We have quite a few announcements below so please make sure you scroll all the way down for all upcoming events.   The community garden will be opening soon so if you are interested in a plot please reach out and we can answer any questions you have.

For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up  before all nations

Isaiah 61:11

Friendly reminder:  Please submit all "What's New?" announcements by Thursday evening at the latest. Thanks for you help!  Have a great week.

‍‍PASTORAL SEARCH UPDATE

The pastoral search committee has been meeting weekly over the past few months under the leadership of our interim moderator, Stephen Rothery and has conducted a number of candidate interviews, both in person and online. We have invited some candidates to return for second interviews, and these will begin later in April. While we continue to accept new applications, it is our hope that we will have a recommendation for Session's consideration at some point during the month of May. Please continue to pray for our team as we seek God's wisdom and discernment in this process.
